During the tartar removal visit, tartar, stains and bacterial coverings are removed from the surface of the teeth, at the same time gum pockets and gum bleeding are measured and recorded. In connection with the treatment, there is also a paste cleaning or powder cleaning (soda), interdental cleaning, individual home care planning and home care instructions, and fluoride or drug treatment as needed.
